Programmatic Page QA Template

A reusable QA template for checking programmatic page data, uniqueness, indexation, canonicals, internal links, structured data, and validation evidence.

Programmatic page QA prevents scaled SEO projects from publishing thin, duplicate, broken, or misleading pages.

Use this template before launching a new page set, after template changes, and when crawl/indexation data shows unexpected patterns.

Launch sample

Before full launch, review:

  • 5 to 10 high-value examples.
  • 5 thin or low-data examples.
  • 5 duplicate-risk examples.
  • 5 expired or unavailable examples.
  • 5 mobile-rendered examples.
  • Several examples from each important template branch.

Do not QA only the best-looking page.

Pass/fail rules

A page set should not launch indexable if:

  • Required data is missing.
  • Pages are nearly identical.
  • Canonicals conflict with internal links or sitemaps.
  • Structured data does not match visible content.
  • Important content only appears after fragile JavaScript interactions.
  • Empty states return indexable thin pages.
  • The team cannot explain which pages should be indexed.

QA is a launch gate, not paperwork.

After launch

Monitor:

  • Crawled URLs.
  • Indexed URLs.
  • Pages with impressions.
  • Pages with clicks.
  • Duplicate or canonicalization issues.
  • Low-value generated URL patterns.
  • Server errors.
  • Structured data errors.
  • Conversion or lead quality where relevant.

If a page set underperforms, improve the template, data, internal links, or indexation policy before generating more pages.
